Not sure what to do
I'm not totally sure what i was supposed to do in this situation, but i waited until heather got there with the truck, and then pried it out with a big stick. Ouch!

Mt. Baker
I finally got to go snowboarding on saturday. We were going to go on rememberance day, but derek got up at 6, checked the website and called me. They had only got one inch of snow so we jsut called the whole thing off. We are such snobs. I don't get out of bed for less than 8 inches of snow :)

We decided to go the next day instead and we woke up to 18 inches of fresh, perfect for snobs like us. It was really busy, but we rode pow all morning, and then brought shovels up and packed a jump after lunch. here's one jump i did, I don't think we landed anything.

Xmas List 2005
In the proud tradition of M3 Xmas Lists, here's mine for 2005

Lappy Mouse - The touchpad isn't always best. A little mouse to go with lappy would be convenient

Snow Shoes - On the Elphin trip I learned that my boots are too big for borrowed snowshoes. While these are a bit bulky, I think they'll do the job.
Atlas 730 Snowshoes
$136.00 CAD @ MEC

Digital Camera - Canon SD400 is being replaced by the SD450. Should be on sale soon.

VSO
Thanks to Lianne (and her mom) a bunch of us scored free tickets to the VSO last night. It's been awhile since I went to the symphony. Nice show. I should go more often.

Elfin Lakes
It's nice to know that at the end of a nice little hike that there's a heated chalet waiting for you.

BC Parks rules. Thanks for maintaining a hut up there for us to use. There were a good bunch of people up there this past weekend making use of it. Even with one group of stampeding elephants who were first out in the morning (I can't believe it was only four people who could make that much noise stomping around), and the couple in the bunk next to mine who were frisky in the morning, everyone was quiet and courteous.

Pictures to flickr soon
